PIPE ROLLING

We offer pipe rolling for diameters from 150 mm to 4000 mm. We roll and weld pipes—both longitudinally and circumferentially—across a wide range of steel grades.

 

 

From carbon steel through stainless to heat- and acid-resistant steels. We can roll pipes in various lengths, from single short pieces of just a few centimeters up to lengths of over ten meters.

 

Pipe rolling on a bending machine shapes the steel to a specified bending radius or profile. This is a commonly used technique in construction, power engineering, machinery manufacturing, and steel structures.

PIPE & CONE ROLLING PROCESS – STEP BY STEP

1.

MATERIAL PREPARATION

Selection of Appropriate Material:
Choosing steel free of cracks, surface defects, and other imperfections (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, or special alloys).

 

Surface Preparation:
Thoroughly cleaning the sheet to remove any contaminants, rust, and scale, ensuring higher forming and welding quality.

PROCESS COMPLETION & QUALITY CONTROL

Final Inspection:
Conducting detailed visual and dimensional checks to detect any:

 

Dents  | Cracks| Transverse deformations

 

Final Corrections: If any deviations from the standard are found, necessary adjustments are made to ensure full compliance with design requirements.

ROLLING PROCESS

Cutting the Development Pattern:
Precisely cutting the flat sheet layout based on the design, which, when rolled, will form the desired pipe or cone shape.

 

Machine Setup:
Positioning the sheet between the rollers of the bending machine.

 

Shape Forming:
The top roller presses the sheet, initiating rotation that gradually bends the material to the required radius. This process ensures uniform forming without deformation.

 

Geometry Control:
Regularly checking the bending radius with measurement templates to maintain compliance with technical specifications.

 

Welding (Optional):
After achieving the target shape, the sheet edges are welded longitudinally. Post-welding, the part can be re-rolled for calibration, guaranteeing perfect roundness and precise dimensions.
